Aeration & the Drought

Its been a hard season with this drought, many counties are restricting the amount of water that can be used to water our lawns and such. Unfortunately, restriction of water is very hard on our lawns and most of us work very hard to try and keep our houses looking nice. Therefore, I can not stress the importance of having your lawn aerated, especially during this stressful drought season! Getting your lawn aerated will increase the amount of air and water your lawn absorbs (even if you are watering less now). Because some of the "thatch" layer will be removed during the process, there will be less run-off water ensuring that you will be making the most of the water used. Allowing the grass to be much more drought and heat resistant. The difference is night and day!
